Description of the innovation projectGame4Skill is a gamification engine for blended learning that applies game principles and mechanics to engage learners in their learning activities. The objective is to boost engagement and successful end-results. Game4Skill can manage any kind of learning activities within blended learning paths: e-learning modules, classroom and virtual classroom sessions, games, social activities (connecting with people, and sharing or contributing content such as news or blog posts). The learning path is represented by a graphical metaphor or narrative, such as a train or a Tube journey, a tree with many leaves, pieces that combine in a jigsaw, and is based on a set of goals.
